Are there any restrictions to the bar service?

Please note that we are a licensed bar and therefore all drinks must be bought over the bar or pre-paid from a drinks package. We do reserve the right to close the bar if repeated BYO is observed as it is detrimental to both our bar and our personal alcohol licenses.

Cancellation policy

Sometimes cancellation is unavoidable, but we offer the following: 6 months or more before the event date - we will return the full amount paid. 3 months before the event dates - we will return 50% of the amount paid. Anything less, unfortunately, we will not return any money.

Can we have a ‘free bar’ where we can pay for all the drinks?

Pre-paid bars for your guests and tabs are also available, please contact us directly to discuss the options for these. There will be a fee upfront to cover initial drinks and then the tab/remainder will need to be settled at the end of the event.

Can we have any drinks on tap?

Tailored bar requests including draught hire (pumps) are available on events over 80 people if your guest needs are high for this option. We can provide lager, cider and ale on these pumps, contact us for more info and we can chat through your needs.

Could we have glasses instead of plastics?

We provide hardware reusable plastic on the bar but you have the option to upgrade to full glassware on the bar for an additional charge – please ensure your venue allows this as so many don’t currently. As a standard we tend to switch to plastics at 10pm on the bar to reduce breakages and any injury from broken glassware around the venue.

Please note the arrivals/toast and table wine glassware is all served in glasses.

Can you supply staff?

Our bar hire (£400) covers 2 members of staff but we can provide more staff if your guest numbers would require more including our cocktail mixologists to produce you some really mouth-watering cocktails. If more staff are required for your event, there will be an additional charge per hour plus any travelling expenses incurred. We will advise you of the number of additional staff you may need when booking with us. All our staff will be in a smart black uniform unless you request a different dress code for your event.

How do I book in with you?

To confirm your date with us we require the bar charge fee of £400 which can be payable by cash or BACS. We can send you a booking form with an invoice and details of how to pay. Is there anything we need to have in place in the venue for the bar?

Our bars can run off a simple 3 pin plug – we would require 4 x 3 (or 2 double sockets) pin plug with running electric. Running water to the bar area is ideal for rinsing and washing but we have worked in the middle of fields with no running water and have found solutions – contact us to discuss any issues with these and we will try our best to resolve them. We may request a simple site visit to check access/amenities if the venue is remote and will be charged at £50 per visit plus any travelling expenses incurred.

What areas do you cover?

We will travel up to 25 miles from CF61 (on land). Anything further will have a further additional charge.

What size will the bar be for my event?

Our handmade wooden bars are interchangeable so we can use a 2m by 1m bar for a venue tight on space up to a 6m by 6m bar for larger events/guest numbers and all in between. All our bars are finished with a white marble top.

Would we be able to have any say on specific drinks on the bar or for the drinks packages?

Absolutely you can, specific wine/champagne for packages can be upgraded at an additional cost which we can discuss with you. We will work closely with you to provide the drinks you want to have at your event.
